Launching a Reseller Motion in Spain and Scaling Partner GTM Across Iberia
Partner recruitment · Indirect sales · Reseller enablement · Joint GTM · Pipeline execution
Henrique’s Salesforce experience combined the development of new reseller capability with the commercial activation of partners across Iberia. The work moved beyond partner recruitment into account mapping, accreditation, technical enablement, partner-specific GTM planning, customer engagement and structured opportunity execution.
Context
Building partner-led capability, not just adding logos
When Henrique moved into Salesforce channel leadership in Spain, part of the opportunity was to develop reseller capability in the market and create a structured path from partner recruitment through enablement to commercial execution.
The work later expanded across Iberia as part of a broader Iberia & Africa alliances remit and included activating partners with different levels of Salesforce maturity, customer access, technical capability and commercial readiness.
The objective was not simply to recruit partners. It was to create partners capable of identifying opportunities, engaging customers and working effectively with Salesforce sales teams.

Building the reseller motion
From partner identification to reseller readiness
Henrique launched and developed the reseller motion in Spain within his remit. The work began by identifying relevant reseller and consulting organisations, recruiting them into the motion and establishing a practical onboarding path.
Readiness required more than programme access. Henrique supported indirect-sales accreditation, account mapping between Salesforce and partner sales organisations, alignment around target customers and priority opportunities, and connections to Salesforce sales and technical resources.
Account mapping connected partner coverage with target customers and priority opportunities. Accreditation and product enablement created a baseline, while access to Salesforce sales and technical resources helped partners prepare for customer conversations before they were expected to progress opportunities with greater independence.
Ayesa was among the organisations involved in early reseller-development activity in Spain. The operating principle was to provide structured enablement before expecting a partner to work independently, so accreditation and product understanding could translate into credible customer conversations and commercial activity.
Moving from onboarding to GTM
Turning partner readiness into customer activity
The operating model progressed beyond onboarding into joint account mapping, planned customer meetings and partner-specific market activity. Certifications and product enablement were connected with practical routes to opportunity generation, supported by joint events, campaigns and regular pipeline follow-up.
Salesforce account executives and reseller technical resources were involved where appropriate, giving partners access to the commercial and solution support needed to prepare customer engagement and advance partner-led sales cycles.
Selected partner relationships included Ayesa, Inetum, Timestamp, Axians, Glintt and LOBA. The nature and maturity of those relationships varied, so the work was adapted to each partner’s capability, market access and stage of development.
Commercial operating model
Partner-specific commercial execution
Henrique used differentiated expectations by partner rather than treating the ecosystem uniformly. Priority partners were managed against specific opportunity-generation, progression and commercial objectives.
The operating rhythm included pipeline reviews, opportunity follow-up, customer engagement plans and joint close planning. It also required coordination between partner teams and Salesforce account executives, with technical support from reseller solution engineering resources when needed.
This approach kept attention on movement from activity into measurable pipeline: identifying relevant opportunities, qualifying them, agreeing ownership and next steps, and maintaining commercial accountability through the sales cycle. The emphasis remained on a practical partner-specific plan rather than generic ecosystem activity.
Partner ecosystem execution
Connecting partners with the wider Salesforce organisation
Partner GTM required coordination with direct sales and technical teams rather than operating the channel independently. Henrique connected partner activity with Salesforce account executives, reseller solution engineering resources and market priorities, supporting customer meetings, product enablement, account mapping and opportunity progression.
Some established partners also expanded their focus into broader Salesforce Core propositions rather than remaining concentrated on narrower solution areas. That required preparation, product context and alignment between partner capability and the opportunities being pursued.
